Want to try out a new dance class and keep up your training this summer? Register for our summer program! Each class runs for 4 weeks and ends with a Summer Showcase.

MONDAY
5-5:45pm
Beginner Aerial Ages 9-18
Designed for students with little to no experience. Students will learn basic skills including, climbing, inverting & wrapping building strength, confidence and flexibility. Our 9-18 year olds will work with aerial skills, hammock, lyra and trapeze.

Beginner Aerial Ages 5-8
Designed for students with little to no experience. Students will learn basic skills including, climbing, inverting & wrapping building strength, confidence and flexibility. Our 5-8 year olds will work with aerial skills and the aerial hammock.

6:30-7:15pm
Intermediate Aerial All Ages
Designed for students that have taken aerial for 2-3 years and have mastered skills such as climbing, inverting and more challenging wraps & poses. Students will continue to expand their aerial vocabulary and will work with aerial skills, Lyra, trapeze and hammock. Students will be guided in small drops with close teacher supervision. Ages 8 & Up.

Advanced Aerial All Ages
Designed for students that have taken aerial for 4-5 years at Formations. Students must be able to climb to the ceiling and invert in the air. Students must have an extensive knowledge of all locks & wraps on aerial silks. In addition to silks, students will also train on the hammock, lyra and trapeze. Students will continue to learn more challenging drops and wraps with close teacher supervision. Ages 9 & Up.

Jr/Teen Tap Ages 8-18
A technique based class that focuses on using sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. This class will expand on a Dancer’s musicality with an emphasis on rhythm and timing. Dancers will learn Tap skills and how to integrate sounds with that of the music. This class accommodates ages 8-18.
WEDNESDAY
5:30-6pm
Jr/Teen Musical Theater 8-18
A movement based class that focuses on learning paper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows. Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and telling a story through dance and facial expressions. Dancers will require no shoes for this class. This class accommodates age 8-18.

Jr/Teen Jazz Ages 8-18
A technique based class that focuses on teaching proper alignment and execution of Jazz technique with integrated stylistic movement. Dancers will learn how to execute a wide variety of Jazz skills such as but not limited to: emphasis on rhythm, groundedness,isolations, movement of hips, expanding on performance of technique skills, exploring theatrical performance of a variety of styles of Jazz, etc. Dancers will require black jazz shoes for this class. This class accommodates ages 8-18.

Jr/Teen Hip Hop Ages 8-18
A movement based class that focuses on fun, energetic stylized dancing. Dancers will learn fundamentals of isolations, grooves and a wide variety of backgrounds of the style through progressions across the floor, combinations in center and freestyle skills. Dancers will require tennis shoes they DO NOT wear outside of the studio for this class. This class accommodates ages 8-18.

Jr/Teen Contemporary 8-18
A movement based class that focuses on modern and “out of the box” thinking for stylistic purposes in movement. Dancers will learn organic movement, self-expression through artistry and improvisational skills. This class accommodates ages 8-18.

Sprouts Ages 2-3
A 30 minute introductory class teaching fundamentals of Tap steps, Ballet positions, creative movement and listening skills. Sprouts accommodates 2-3 years of age.

Seedlings/Blossoms Ages 3-7
A 60 minute combination class teaching Tap, Jazz, Ballet and tumbling fundamentals. This class focuses on basic technique, rhythm and creative movement. Seedlings accommodates dancers 3-7 years of age. Dancers will require black tie up tap shoes and pink canvas ballet shoes.

Cheer & Tumble Ages 3-8
A movement based class that focuses on sharp arm movements, execution of choreographic visuals and dance team/cheer skills. Dancers will learn fundamentals of Pom positions, performance skills and pushes dancers to expand on their high energy, entertainment skills. This class accommodates ages 3-8.
